Kent Burto is a licensed New York State commercial real estate broker working with Hunt Commercial. Kent received his real estate license in 2000. Along with working in the real estate world, Kent is a United States Air Force Veteran and is currently a Jefferson County Legislator, (chairman of the board from 2006-2007). He also works as the secretary / treasurer and part owner of Northern Developers LLC, specializing in the design, lease and development of professional and retail space. They currently have 15 tenants in six different buildings in Jefferson and Lewis County. Kent is a current board member of the Color My World Daycare Committee and North Country Home Consortium Board. He is also a member of the Carthage Elks Lodge, and a member of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors (NYSCAR). Kent lives in Carthage New York with his wife Johnna and stepdaughter, his son is currently a senior at Salisbury University in Maryland.
