Mr. Hunt commenced his career with Hunt Real Estate/Hunt Commercial Real Estate Corporation in 1977 as a salesman. He worked exclusively in sales and leasing of commercial property from 1977 to 1995, then served as Manager of Hunt Commercial from 1995 to 2002. In 2002 Mr. Hunt returned to full time sales and leasing.

Mr. Hunt has maintained continuous membership in the International Council of Shopping Centers from 1978. In 1982 he was a founding member of the Commercial Investment Division of the Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors, which became the Western NY Chapter of NYS Commercial Association of Realtors. He served five years as its President and in 2003 received its Lifetime Achievement Award.

Among Mr. Hunt’s community activities are Advisory Board member since 1994, and past Chair, of the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at SUNY Buffalo and since 1997 Board member of Beechwood Continuing Care (a nursing and well aged community). He is past Board member and Chair of the YWCA of Buffalo. Mr. Hunt is lifetime member of Central Park United Methodist Church where he has served on many committees and sings in the choir.

Mr. Hunt is a 1971 graduate of Colgate University and in 1976 received a masters degree in philosophy from SUNY Albany. He has taken courses in investment real estate and appraisal from the Realtors National Marketing Institute and multiple courses in taxation from H&R Block.

Mr. Hunt is married to the former Anne Leary and has a son, Dyvan. Mr. Hunt enjoys basketball, running, and the piano.
