Tom Gentile

Mr. Gentile joined HUNT Commercial as an Associate Real Estate Broker in December 1997. Previously the Corporate Real Estate Manager for Convenient Food Mart, Inc., Site Development Agent at Sugar Creek Stores, Inc. and the Northeast Division Real Estate Manager for The Southland Corporation (7-ElevenStores), Tom’s responsibilities have included demonstrated accomplishments in all facets of real estate management and new store development.

Tom has been responsible for Real Estate Management of well over 300 stores and over 100 surplus/income properties throughout the Northeast. Management activities included evaluation and negotiations of numerous individual store lease renewals and relocations, as well as multiple store divestitures. In addition to real estate department head responsibilities, Tom has been individually responsible for development of more than 50 new store locations.

New store development responsibilities have included site selection, market research, site plan and interior design, sales and construction cost estimates, lease and purchase negotiations, coordination of agreement preparation for execution, application and presentation to Planning and Zoning Boards for appropriate site plan approvals, area variances & special use permits, and appropriate coordination of outside professionals (attorneys, engineers, architects, etc.) to facilitate new store openings.

Having been a Licensed Real Estate Broker since 1970, Tom has well over 25 years of real estate experience. Since joining HUNT Commercial Tom is actively involved with commercial sales and leasing for a diverse client base.
