John Dodsworth

John joined HUNT Commercial Real Estate in 2007. His impressive 30 year background in the hospitality industry has given him the perfect fit into real estate. John has worked for hotel and restaurants as an owner, developer, consultant, site locator, leasing specialist, franchising, inspections, marketing, management and consulting.
Johns career in hospitality took off as a line cook for a local restaurant and from there he became a manager for a number of large franchises. Later in his life John decided to invest in owning his own franchise of Blimpie Restaurant. Recently he has worked with the Cendant Corporation as director of hotel development, his territory consisted of New York, Pennsylvania, New England, to find land for new construction and conversion of non flagged hotels. John was responsible for support and development of all Cendant Hotels, where he developed the hotels in new construction from site location to grand opening, assisted owners with permitting, marketing, management, training, construction, and financing. He also assisted in the conversion of many of the hotels into the Cendant Family of hotel flags.

John specializes in the sales and leasing of hospitality type real estate from Buffalo to New York City.
